More beat 'em up stuff, finally! These are some sketches I made to try and get a feel for what the character sprites might look like.

If you've been following my work you might recognize Jet and Texas, joining them this time around is newcomer Kelly. I've been kicking around ideas for her design for a long time, but I'm only just now starting to reach something that feels more complete. She would (obviously) represent the quick but weak character archetype.

The designs for Jet and Texas have changed a little as well. I adjusted some of the details in Jet's outfit, and I'm much happier with the way he looks now. The proportions of the characters have been more exaggerated as well, in an attempt to give each character a more unique silhouette. I kind of wish Jet and Kelly didn't end up so similar in this regard, but at least I'm pretty happy with how each of the characters turned out.

彼らがJiggehさんの制作するゲームの主人公なんでしょうか？（キャプションに書いてある事がはっきり理解できてないので・・・w）

パッと見た感じだけでもすごく動きを感じるポーズですね！多分、左から順番にスピード、パワー、バランス、のキャラ構成でしょうか？個人的に右の女性が使いたいですw　

しかし、ポーズが決まってますねぇ･･･！Jiggehさんは何か参考に絵を描いているのでしょうか？私はいつもポーズに苦労して平凡な絵になってしまうので･･･。

そのとおり！主人公たちだ。まだプランニング中で色々が変わりそうだけど。特にカウボーイのテキサスさんが気になる・・・まだまだｗ

左から順番では
バランスタイプのジェット
パワータイプのテキサス
スピードタイプのケリー
という構成だ！そして最近に描いた女子プロさんは4番目のプレイヤーキャラになるみたい。（名前がまだ決めてない）
俺も間違いなくケリーが一番好き！最初考えたキャラクターだった。このようなエアロビクスファッションが好きでこういうキャラクターを使いたいよ！と思って想像したキャラクターなんですw

ポーズはドット絵感じを目指したよ！格ゲーみたいに格闘技や性格と合わせしたポーズでいいと思って、たくさんの格ゲードット絵を参考にして描いたよ！最近はどんな絵でも描くとき参考をよく勉強していくことになった。携帯で資料館のように色々な参考を見ながら描く順序で、すごく役に立つよ！気になったら詳しく教えてあげるよ。

エアロビww！やはり、作者自身が使いたいと思えるキャラが一番ですね！多分一番人気でしょう。実際、私もケリーさんが良いと思ったし。(^-^)

なるほど、ドットを参考にかぁ～。私もBKの敵キャラを描くときはイラストとしての資料が無いので実際のゲーム画面を参考に描いてますが･･･。確かに格ゲーのドットはかなりカッコイイしパターンも豊富にあるから資料としては最高でしょうね。特にカプコンの物は素晴らしいです！ストⅢとか芸術の領域だと思う。

しかし、携帯のサイトで資料館の様なものがあるんですか？面白そうですね～

サイトじゃないけど、パソコンでも携帯でもアクセスできる自分で集めた資料コレクションみたい！Dropboxという無料ソフトを使って、（PC版も携帯アプリもある）好きな絵をセーブしたらどこからでもアクセスできるようになってすごく便利だよ！色々なテーマで分かれててどんなキャラクターなど描きたくても、何かの資料を探し出せる＾＾

sweet shading style. I get the Kof thing in terms of shading, particularly on the skin; tho u mainatin a slightly sketchy feel, at least with Jet, i think his name was? cool stuff. You really should get something going with a team. I myself am in need of someone who can handle backgrounds for my beat em up project. good luck to us both!

Thanks. And yeah, these are just that, sketches. Trying to get a feel for these characters. It's not necessarily representative of how exactly the in-game graphics would look like.
